Our Story Cub Scout Pack 494 has been a cornerstone of the Santa Clarita community for more than three decades. Our mission is to foster leadership, teamwork, and a love for the outdoors in young scouts. Led by a dedicated team of volunteers, we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all families. Our Pack’s chartering organization is the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6885 located in Canyon Country, CA, and we are part of the Bill Hart District in the Western Los Angeles County Council.
