Saturday, October 3, 8:15am in San Diego

Location: MCAS Miramar in San Diego.

There are several entrances to the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. There will be large crowds and traffic will be thick. We can’t know ahead of time where will be directed to park. Please communicate with your Den Leader(s) via text or phone to coordinate carpooling, caravaning, and meeting up upon arrival.

Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, is located about 15 miles north of downtown San Diego, between Interstate Highways 805 and 15.

By motor vehicle, access the…

  • Main (East) Gate from the MCAS Miramar (Miramar Way) exit on I-15.
  • North or West Gates from the Miramar Rd. exit on I-15 or I-805.

  • Class B uniform for scouts.
  • The Air Show is free.
  • Seating is on the cement tarmac. Bring picnic blanket and/or lawn chairs.
  • Wear suncreen and a hat. Consider sunglasses.
  • Concessions are available on site.
  • In addition to the Air Show aerial performances, there will be dozens of aircraft and other vehicles on static display.

Camping

(Optional) overnight camping at Campland on the Bay. Please coordinate with Zach Rosen if you are interested in camping. Campsites must be reserved individually.
